About

From a young age, I always knew that I wanted to help others. As I grew older, I had a deep curiosity for how my early life experiences influenced my self-concept, expectations, and behavior. After high school I moved from Grand Rapids, MI to Boulder, CO where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Colorado in 2006. In 2010, I completed my Masters of Social Work Degree from the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver and in 2015, I became trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR).

My own process of self-discovery has not be straight or linear in any sense. Instead, it has been filled with many unexpected twists and unforeseen turns. Through the help of therapy, I began to explore my fears and limiting beliefs from a place of curiosity rather than self-judgement. Therapy taught me how to lean into my relationships for support, something that has fundamentally changed by life and only reinforced my passion for helping others. I prioritize connection, have a hunger for knowledge, and strive to lead from a place of compassion in all aspects of life.
